Former US President Donald Trump announced on Wednesday that Iran has threatened his life.

“Iran has already made moves against me that failed, but they will try again,” Trump said on Truth Social, noting that the US military is vigilant.

Trump thanked the US Congress for unanimously increasing Secret Service funding. He now has enhanced security, including more personnel and weapons.

Officials confirmed Trump was safe after gunshots were reported near his Florida location on September 15.

On Tuesday, US intelligence briefed Trump about specific assassination threats from Iran aimed at destabilizing the US, his campaign reported.

“Recent months have seen an uptick in these threats, with law enforcement nationwide working to protect President Trump and ensure a fair election,” stated Steven Cheung, Trump’s campaign communications director.

Cheung added, “Iran’s regime fears Kamala Harris’s perceived weakness and is intimidated by Trump’s strength. He is determined to fight for Americans and continue his ‘Make America Great Again’ agenda.”

The Harris-Biden admin's refusal to provide essential security to Trump raises serious questions. They did the same thing to Kennedy during the primary.
