A truck transporting sacrificial goats was robbed near Kamran Chowrangi in Gulistan-e-Johar, Karachi.

Police stated that four individuals on a motorcycle intercepted the truck, which carried at least 30 goats.

The driver was forcibly removed at gunpoint by two of the suspects, who then drove away with the vehicle.

Trader Abdul Manan, affected by the robbery, mentioned that the goats were en route from Hyderabad to Gulistan-e-Johar.

Police have launched an investigation following the trader’s report of the incident.

This robbery occurred shortly before Eid ul Adha, when Muslims globally engaged in animal sacrifices.

As Eid approaches, incidents like this have increased, with similar thefts reported in Lahore recently.

In one case, thieves in Samanabad, Lahore, stole two goats from a boy at gunpoint.

Another incident in Nishtar Colony saw police apprehend one robber while his accomplice escaped following a goat theft.
