A coal mine collapse in Darra Adam Khel, 35 km southwest of Peshawar, resulted in three fatalities and four injuries on Tuesday.
Officials reported that the victims and the injured were all miners from Shangla district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
Emergency responders quickly reached the collapse site, successfully retrieving the bodies and transporting the injured to a nearby hospital.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Chief Minister, Ali Amin Gandapur, expressed deep sorrow over the tragic event, offering condolences to the families of the deceased and prayers for the rapid recovery of the injured.
