The Karachi Traffic Police issued a traffic diversion plan for three 12th Rabi ul Awal processions on Tuesday, advising commuters to take alternative routes.
The Eid Milad un Nabi processions will all take place on MA Jinnah Road, resulting in road closures around the area for the entire day.
The first procession starts at 2:30 p.m. from Kharadar Masjid and ends at Gulzar-e-Habib Masjid. A second, beginning at 2:30 p.m., will proceed from Memon Masjid to Aram Bagh Masjid. The third will start at 3:00 p.m. from Memon Masjid in Kharadar and finish at Nishtar Park. All processions are expected to continue until late Tuesday night.

To manage traffic flow, the plan includes several diversions:
- Traffic from M Arkiani Chowk will be redirected to Chowrangi Road.
- Vehicles from the Empress Market area will be rerouted to Zaibunnisa Street.
- Traffic from the Aram Bagh light signal on Sharea Liaquat will be directed towards Shaheen Complex.
- Vehicles coming from University Road will take Kashmir Road via Jail Flyover.
- Traffic aimed at People’s Chowrangi will be diverted towards Saddar via Sharea Quaideen or Corridor-III.
- Vehicles on MA Jinnah Road from Guru Mandir will be diverted towards Central Jail.
- Lastly, traffic from Lasbela will be prohibited from heading towards MA Jinnah Road.
Commuters are encouraged to plan their routes accordingly to avoid delays.
