I was tortured, kidnapped: Iqra university Student who was set alight

The student of Iqra university, Karachi who was set alight after being drenched with a flammable liquid, revealed that he had already been the victim of a kidnapping attempt on February 9.

While talking to GEO News, Harris, revealed that he was abducted four days back from Baloch colony and was set on fire in the Akhtar colony area after which he was immediately rushed to the hospital  by people in the area who helped douse the flames. he is currently under treatment at the hospital.

Following his treatment, he stated that he had forgotten his university card at home and while he was on his way home to collect it, he encountered unknown kidnappers in a vehicle who took him away. He added that he was not aware who his attackers were.

His father alleged that he had already complained to the police earlier regarding his son’s first attempted kidnapping but the police refused to provide any security.
