Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) decided to observe a day of solidarity with their leader Altaf Hussain by mounting countrywide protest demonstrations against PTI chief Imran Khan today.
Reacting to Imran Khan’s utterances against the party chief, MQM leader Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui denoted that his party will take out a rally at 2pm today in Karachi from Ayesha Manzil to Mazar-e-Quaid as a “token of love” to their leader Hussain.
Siddiqui asserted the conspiracies against the party will never come to fruition, adding, “Imran Khan does not know as to who he dared as Haq Parasti (devotion to truth) and Altaf Hussain are names of a movement.”
Furthermore, he remarked that “the expression of love towards Altaf Hussain today will be written in history”.
Muttahida workers gathered in large number at Nine Zero—the MQM’s headquarters to express solidarity with their leader and mounted slogans for Altaf Hussain and against Imran Khan.
Addressing a press conference yesterday at his Bani Gala residence, Imran Khan denounced Hussain’s tirade against PTI’s women in a televised speech on Saturday night. “Altaf Hussain is a coward, who has been living abroad for over two decades in order to safeguard his life,” he said.
