TIME magazine has unveiled its 2025 list of the 100 most influential people, spotlighting global changemakers across six categories: Artists, Icons, Leaders, Titans, Pioneers, and Innovators. Spain’s Teresa Ribera is the sole Spanish representative, joined by icons like Demi Moore and Serena Williams.

Teresa Ribera, Spain’s Minister for Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge, earned her place in the Leaders category for her pivotal role in Europe’s fight against climate change. Her innovative policies and commitment to sustainability have positioned her as a global influencer, making her Spain’s only honoree on the 2025 list.
