Jibran, the primary suspect in the case of TikToker Ayesha’s tragic death, was presented before a city court recently.
During the appearance, he made the startling claim that he merely found and moved the body of an already deceased girl, which has now implicated him as a criminal.
The court questioned Jibran as to why he did not call an ambulance or the police upon discovering the body. His lawyer said Jibran was illiterate enough to make such calls or contact the authorities.
Following these proceedings, the court sent Jibran on a two-day physical remand. He was instructed to reappear on June 30th, along with an updated progress report from the investigating officer.
Details on the Investigation and Ayesha’s Father’s Statement
Earlier in the case, the police had registered a First Information Report (FIR) based on the complaint filed by Ayesha’s father. The authorities also recorded his detailed statement regarding the incident.
In his account, Sultan, Ayesha’s father, stated, “I had received information from the police that they found my daughter’s body. My daughter went to a party with Jibran and a woman named Pinki. My daughter’s death was caused due to a drug overdose, and I came to the police station to register a case against the accused.”
It’s crucial to note that Ayesha, a well-known TikToker, was left at Jinnah Hospital by unknown individuals who escaped in a white car. The vehicle was later discovered at the corner of Saba Street, just a short distance from a nearby bungalow.
