Karachi: Following a grenade attack on a patrolling police party, three field terrorists pursuing the deathly agenda of outlawed extremist militant outfit, Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (Swat Group), were nailed after being injured in a shootout with the law-enforcers.

“The gunfight broke out after attackers tossed a grenade at a police mobile in Baldia Town’s Saeedabad neighborhood. After a short exchange of fire, the cops, who barely escaped the bomb, succeeded in dealing the militants incapacitating blows,” officials said.

According to sources, the wounded terrorists were taken away to an unknown location. “An assault rifle, a hand grenade, a cabire .30 pistol (TT), detonators, and batteries were seized from the possession of the attackers,” another police official said.
