At least three people were killed as a truck, carrying salt, turned turtle at Lahore’s busy Band Road due to a tyre burst on Wednesday, officials stated.
According to local police, the mishap took place when a truck carrying salt turned-turtle after losing control due to tyre burst at Band Road entrapping as many as three people under the pile of salt.
The incident has also claimed lives of two women and one child.
On getting the information of the incident, police officials arrived at the scene and launched rescue activity.
The injured were shifted to the nearby hospital.
