The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has finally unveiled its 15-member team for the forthcoming ICC World Cup 2023.

Pakistan’s squad announcement came amidst unexpected setbacks in the Asia Cup 2023 and unfortunate injuries that befell key bowlers during the same tournament. The setbacks prompted intense discussions among the team management before finalizing the squad.

Team Line-up
Leading the team as captain is Babar Azam. He’s joined by Shadab Khan, Abdullah Shafiq, Fakhar Zaman, Haris Rauf, Hasan Ali, Iftikhar Ahmed, Imam-ul-Haq, Mohammad Nawaz, Mohammad Rizwan (wicketkeeper), M Wasim Jnr, Saud Shakeel, Salman Ali Agha, Shaheen Shah Afridi, and Usama Mir.
