On Wednesday, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S25 Ultra, establishing it as the premium device within its Galaxy S25 series. At the Galaxy Unpacked event, the South Korean company presented this flagship smartphone, which comes equipped with a custom Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chip.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra features 12GB of RAM and offers up to 1TB of storage. This new model includes an advanced 50-megapixel ultrawide camera and supports Log video recording, a capability also present in Apple’s iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro models.

Like its updated counterparts, the Galaxy S25 Ultra runs on One UI 7, based on Android 15. It introduces a Now Brief feature for personalized summaries and a Now bar on the lock screen that displays essential information within a colored pill. Moreover, Samsung has upgraded its applications to integrate Google’s Gemini AI assistant, enhancing multitasking capabilities with applications such as Samsung Notes and YouTube.
Galaxy S25 Ultra Pricing and Availability:
The Galaxy S25 Ultra starts at $1,299 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage base model. Other variants include the 12GB+256GB and 12GB+512GB models, priced at $1,419 and $1,659 , respectively.
The device is available in Titanium Black, Titanium Gray, Titanium Silverblue, and Titanium Whitesilver. Exclusive colors like Titanium Jadegreen, Titanium Jetblack, and Titanium Pinkgold are also available through Samsung’s website.
Preorders in the US begin today, with availability starting February 7.
Galaxy S25 Ultra Specifications and Features:
The dual-SIM Galaxy S25 Ultra runs Android 15 with Samsung’s new One UI 7. It supports Galaxy AI features and will receive seven years of Android OS and security updates. The smartphone is powered by a custom Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chip and offers up to 1TB of built-in storage.
Samsung has equipped the device with a 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, featuring a variable refresh rate of 1Hz-120Hz and a peak brightness of 2,600nits. It’s protected by Corning Gorilla Armor 2. The design includes slightly rounded corners, differing from its predecessor.
The phone features four rear cameras: a 200-megapixel main camera with 2x in-sensor zoom and optical image stabilization (OIS), an updated 50-megapixel ultrawide camera, a 50-megapixel telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom and OIS, and a 10-megapixel telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and OIS. A 12-megapixel selfie camera enhances the front.
Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, UWB, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. It also supports the S Pen stylus and has an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery supporting 45W wired charging and 15W Fast Wireless Charging 2.0, alongside Wireless PowerShare. It measures 162.8×77.6×8.2mm and weighs 218g.
