Thailand is a top destination for Pakistanis; Thailand issues two types of visit visas to Pakistani nationals: single-entry and multiple-entry.

Pakistani applicants can submit their visa applications in person or through authorized agents of the Thai embassy in Pakistan.

The application process requires the submission of several documents, including:

  • A cover letter or a letter from your employer
  • A passport with a minimum of six months validity and at least one blank page
  • A bank statement covering the last year
  • Two recent passport-sized photographs
  • Two copies of the CNIC
  • Two copies of the passport
  • An NTN letter
  • Confirmation of air tickets or hotel bookings

Bank Statement Requirement

All applicants must provide a one-year bank statement with their visa application, a mandatory step for securing a Thai visit visa.

Thailand’s Visa Fee Structure (Effective August 2024)

As of August 2024, following a visa fee revision in June 2023 linked to exchange rate adjustments, the fees for Pakistani nationals are:

  • Single-entry tourist visa (valid for three months): Rs 13,000
  • Multiple-entry visit visa (valid for six months): Rs 65,000

By familiarizing themselves with the visa requirements and ensuring all documents and fees are correctly submitted, Pakistani nationals can enjoy a smooth application process and look forward to exploring Thailand’s cultural and scenic wonders. Remember, thorough preparation is key to a successful visa application.
