At least 10 people, including policemen and lawyers, were killed and 40 others wounded on Friday in two consecutive blasts outside District Court of Mardan in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK).
According to initial reports, a suicide bomber, while attempting to enter the local court building, first hurled a hand grenade on the outer gate and then blew himself up.
Two consecutive blasts left several injured, most of them litigants.
They were later rushed to district hospital, while security forces cordoned off the area and rescue efforts were underway.
Police and rescue officials said ten of the injured died in the hospital while many were serious. The death toll may raise.
The roads leading to the court have also been closed, according Samaa’s report.
