Taylor Swift delighted fans with a rare moment of levity during her ‘Eras Tour’ concert in Gelsenkirchen, Germany, during the first of her three scheduled performances in the city.
While performing “I Can Do It with a Broken Heart,” near the show’s conclusion, Swift, assisted by her dancer Kam Saunders, momentarily broke character. As Saunders helped Swift into a sparkly jacket and animated her arms in a choreographed fashion, the singer flashed a bemused half-smile and stifled laughter before regaining her composure to continue the performance. The audience warmly received this moment of genuine amusement shared with Saunders.
The concert also saw an appearance from Swift’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce, who has been a constant presence at many stops of the Eras Tour. Kelce, the renowned tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, enjoyed the performance from a private suite. He is scheduled to return to the U.S. shortly for the Chiefs’ training camp starting on July 19.
Swift’s tour will continue with two more shows in Gelsenkirchen on July 18 and 19 before moving on to Hamburg. These shows will mark her ongoing connection with her German fans through captivating performances.
