On June 19, 2025, a judge ruled that Justin Baldoni’s Wayfarer company can seek communications between Taylor Swift and Blake Lively regarding the ongoing It Ends With Us dispute, escalating the legal feud involving Taylor Swift, Blake Lively, and Baldoni.
The judge rejected Lively’s request to block Baldoni’s access to her messages with Swift, stating they may be relevant to allegations of sexual harassment and retaliation. Per People, a protective order ensures confidentiality, countering Lively’s concerns about public leaks. Baldoni’s team previously subpoenaed Swift but withdrew it, though the judge upheld their right to pursue related communications.

Lively’s Response and Claims
A representative for Lively informed TMZ that the court denied Wayfarer’s motion to compel documents from her, emphasising that she has provided far more documents than required. They accused Baldoni of using Swift’s fame as a distraction from serious allegations, pointing out that Wayfarer received no documents from Swift, which contradicted previous claims from “insiders.” Lively’s team highlighted her willingness to cooperate and criticised Baldoni’s tactics.
