On Sunday, Taylor Swift wrapped up her Eras Tour at the BC Place Stadium in Vancouver, celebrating a monumental journey that amassed over $2 billion in ticket sales.

People magazine said the pop superstar allocated $197 million in bonuses to the extensive team behind Eras Tour. This diverse group included truck drivers, caterers, technical staff, merchandisers, production crews, dancers, band members, security personnel, choreographers, and many others who contributed to the tour’s success.

Swift’s final show in Vancouver, her 149th tour performance, was a concert and a heartfelt thank you to her fans and team. Opening with her hit “Lover,” Swift reflected on the tour’s global journey. “We have toured the entire world. We have had so many adventures. It has been the most exciting, powerful, electrifying, intense, most challenging thing I’ve ever done in my entire life,” she shared with the audience.

Before performing the last track, Swift expressed her gratitude to the crowd: “I want to thank every single one of you for being a part of the most thrilling chapter of my life to date – my beloved Eras Tour.”

Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour marked a significant chapter in Swift’s career and set new records in the music industry. Taylor Swift Touring reported to the New York Times that the tour attracted 10,168,008 attendees and generated $2,077,618,725 in ticket sales, doubling the gross of any previous concert tour in history.

Swift’s Ongoing Impact and Recognition

In addition to her tour success, Taylor Swift continues to dominate global music streaming. She remains one of the most-streamed artists on Spotify for the second consecutive year, with over 26.6 billion streams. Her influence extends beyond music, as Billboard magazine recently named her the second greatest pop star of the 21st century and the top artist of 2023.
