The teaser for “Tulsa King” season 2, featuring Hollywood icon Sylvester Stallone, has been released.
Set to premiere on September 15, Stallone reprises his role as a former mob boss crafting a new criminal realm in Oklahoma.
In the teaser, Stallone’s character, Dwight Manfredi, asserts his control over Tulsa, stating, “Tulsa belongs to me now. I don’t answer to any man.”
The second season’s synopsis reveals: “Dwight and his crew continue to build and defend their growing empire in Tulsa. Yet, just as they stabilize, they face competition for control. Threats emerge from the Kansas City mob and a formidable local businessman. Amidst these challenges, Dwight strives to protect his family and associates while managing his various endeavours. Moreover, unresolved issues in New York await his attention.”
Notably, the production of “Tulsa King” season 2 encountered obstacles, including the temporary departure of showrunner Terence Winter following disputes with producer Taylor Sheridan. Winter eventually returned to leadership, with Zisk handling production responsibilities.
The cast for the second season includes not only Stallone but also Martin Starr, Jay Will, Max Casella, Vincent Piazza, Tatiana Zappardino, Annabella Sciorra, Neal McDonough, Frank Grillo, Domenick Lombardozzi, Andrea Savage, Garrett Hedlund, and Dana Delany.
