Rangers have killed suspected terrorist Imran alias Umar Qari during an encounter in Baldia Town area earlier today.
Umari Qari belonged to the Swat chapter of the outlawed TTP. According to Rangers spokesperson, the terrorist was involved in more than 20 cases of target killings.
Separately, five suspected criminals were arrested during raids in Ramswami area. They were shifted to undisclosed location for interrogation.
Another gang war suspect identified as Sohail Dada was killed in an encounter with the CID (crime investigation department) police in Napier area. The suspect was involved in murder, attempt to murder, extortion, land grabbing and other cases.
