Former state minister and vice president Pakistan Peoples Party’s (PPP) Punjab Chapter Syed Sumsam Ali Bukhari has resigned from the party on Wednesday.
After resigning from the basic membership of the PPP, the former minister forwarded his resignation to Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
In his resignation letter along with other reasons one of the key factor was stated “PPP’s needless support to the PML-N has damaged the party in Punjab,”
According to sources Bukhari along with some other PPP leaders from Punjab to join Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
