According to military sources, the aerial strikes carried out on militant hideouts in North Waziristan. led to the deaths of five terrorists including suicide bombing mastermind Sabir, Uzbek Commander Abu Ahmed and others.

Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar on Saturday confirmed that the airstrike carried out in North Waziristan is a ‘limited activity’.

He further said that no decision to stop negotiation and to pursue a full-fledged operation has been taken yet and that the ongoing limited action is ‘constitutional.’
