Suge Knight, former CEO of Death Row Records, has made allegations following the recent arrest of Sean “Diddy” Combs on charges including sex trafficking.
From Richard J. Donovan State Prison, where he is serving a sentence for voluntary manslaughter, Knight shared his views in an interview with Chris Cuomo. He criticized high-profile artists like Jay-Z, Snoop Dogg, and Dr. Dre for their silence.
Knight suggested that the issues surrounding Diddy are part of a broader, ongoing pattern within the music industry. “Diddy was taught by predecessors and continued these practices with younger artists,” he stated, indicating a cycle of exploitation.
This assertion aligns with earlier claims by Diddy’s former bodyguard, Gene Deal, who indicated that Diddy’s actions reflected an industry-wide behaviour.
During the interview, Knight also hinted at tapes showing well-known figures engaging in questionable activities, though he did not provide details. “You know what they show,” he remarked to Cuomo, adding a layer of mystery and sparking further speculation about industry secrets.

Knight expressed disappointment in the rap community’s lack of response to Diddy’s arrest. He named several influential figures, including T.I., Rick Ross, Jay-Z, Snoop Dogg, and Dr. Dre, criticizing them for their silence despite their awareness of deeper issues. “Nobody is stepping up, even though they know what’s going on,” he concluded.
He also drew parallels between Diddy’s situation and that of Jeffrey Epstein, suggesting that Diddy’s knowledge of certain secrets could make him a target in prison, either due to the information he holds or as others may seek notoriety by associating with his case.
