Stock market was range-bound yesterday with the KSE-100 index oscillating narrowly between the day’s high and low. The index closed up by 58.41 points at 29,057.44, once again crossing the psychological barrier of 29,000 points.
On Tuesday, foreign investors were major buyers of $6.99 million worth shares. The overseas investor interest was concentrated in banks which received portfolio inflow of $4.5m and oil and gas sector which attracted $1.9m. Local institutional and individual investors generally kept to the sidelines.
