Karachi: Senior police officer Rao Anwar escaped attack on convoy in Karachi on Saturday.
According to sources, unknown assailants armed with grenades attacked the convoy of SSP Rao Anwar on Link Road near Steel Town.
In a retaliatory fire from Police teams forced the assailants to flee.
Rao Anwar talking to media said that he was safe and attackers were riding a car.
“It seems the attackers were linked to Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP),” he added.
