The decision to exclude Naseem Shah has surprised many as Pakistan aims to bolster their bowling lineup for the Cape Town Test.
Having secured a spot in the World Test Championship final at Lord’s in June, South Africa remains focused on completing a series sweep against Pakistan. Temba Bavuma emphasized their intent to win: “The series is still at stake. We aim for a clinical finish and a 2-0 series victory. Our focus remains sharp.”
Earlier, Pakistani all-rounder Salman Ali Agha expressed confidence in his team’s ability to rebound in the second Test. “We competed fiercely in Centurion and are optimistic about our prospects in the upcoming Test,” Salman commented.
