The Mumbai Police have made another arrest in the case involving gunfire outside Bollywood star Salman Khan’s residence last month.
The latest individual detained is Harpal Singh, a 34-year-old from Fatehabad, Haryana, linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
Singh was arrested by the Mumbai crime branch in his hometown on Monday evening and was transported to Mumbai early Tuesday morning. He is scheduled to appear in court later today.
This arrest marks the sixth in the ongoing investigation into the April 14 incident, where two individuals on a motorcycle fired shots outside Khan’s Galaxy Apartment in Bandra, Mumbai, before fleeing the scene.

The connection to Singh was established during the interrogation of Mohammed Rafique Chowdhary, another member of the Bishnoi gang who had previously been apprehended. Investigations revealed that Singh had directed Chowdhary to survey the area around Khan’s residence and provided him with ₹2-3 lakh for the task.
Lawrence Bishnoi, the gang leader currently in Sabarmati central prison in Ahmedabad, along with his younger brother Anmol Bishnoi, suspected to be in the US or Canada, are also implicated in this case.
