The Sindh government has introduced large-scale welfare projects for industrial workers through the newly launched Workers’ Welfare Card.
According to Labour Secretary Rafiq Qureshi, this initiative will provide industrial workers with accident health insurance coverage of up to Rs. 700,000. Additionally, the program will distribute 10,000 e-motorcycles and sewing machines to eligible workers, among other valuable benefits.
Sindh will give 10,000 e-motorcycles to women and minority workers. Sewing machines will help women, too. These items boost welfare and help the environment.
