The Sindh government has introduced Pakistan’s first Senior Citizen Card to enhance the quality of life of the elderly. Minister for Social Welfare Mir Tariq Ali Khan Talpur launched this initiative, promising substantial benefits such as medical facilities, easier travel, and essential amenities.

The program, a joint effort between the Sindh Social Welfare Department and the National Database & Registration Authority (NADRA), will impact an estimated 3.7 million individuals aged 60 and above across the province. “This initiative highlights our commitment to our elders, the foundation of our history and culture,” said Minister Talpur during the launch.
