The Sindh Advisor for Information, Moula Bakhsh Chandio earlier today said that “ten military courts will start to function in a matter of few weeks while safe houses will be established for witnesses’ protection.”
Addressing a press conference here, the Information Advisor said so far 25 cases have been referred to the military courts including that of Khalid Mehmood Soomro’s murder.
However, he said there is a court’s stay on Khalid Mehmood’s case and efforts are being made for its withdrawal.
He said a force is also being raised for the protection of witnesses.
Chandio said approval has been solicited for formation of committees on district level to create religious harmony.
