The Sindh Excise Department hosted a landmark auction, selling premium license Plates for unprecedented amounts.
The auction, which included notable figures such as Senior Provincial Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon and other dignitaries, marked a first in Pakistan’s history for such an event. The most coveted item, the number “1” license plate, fetched a staggering 100 million PKR.
The premium license plates auction featured plates categorized into platinum, gold, and silver groups, reflecting their exclusivity and value. Plates with single digits fell into the platinum category, commanding the highest prices, with the number “2” plate selling for 37 million PKR and the number “786” fetching 26.5 million PKR. The gold category included three-digit numbers, and the silver category covered four, appealing to various collectors and philanthropists.

The event highlighted the high demand for unique premium license plates and served a charitable cause. The organizers announced that the proceeds from the auction would go towards rebuilding homes for flood victims, integrating community support with the prestige of the auction.
