Bollywood actor and entrepreneur Shraddha Kapoor recently encountered a surprising tech issue. Her verified LinkedIn profile was mistakenly flagged as a fake account by the platform’s systems. Kapoor shared the entire experience with her followers through Instagram Stories.
In her first story, Kapoor directly tagged LinkedIn’s official India handle. She explained she could not use her own premium and verified account because LinkedIn incorrectly identified it as fake.
“Account is made, premium and verified, but no one else can see it,” she wrote. “Want to start sharing my entrepreneurial journey, getting an account itself has become a journey.”

LinkedIn’s support team responded quickly to the public query. Kapoor shared a follow-up story less than an hour later to thank them.
“Team LinkedIn sorted things in less than an hour on a Saturday night,” she wrote, accompanied by a clap and salute emoji. The quick fix highlights the effectiveness of modern social media customer support channels.
The issue arose as Kapoor plans to share more about her business ventures. She is the co-founder and brand ambassador of the jewellery brand Palmonas, which launched in 2022. Using LinkedIn is a key part of her strategy to connect with her professional audience and share her journey as an entrepreneur.
On the acting front, Shraddha Kapoor will next be seen in the film Naagin, produced by Nikhil Dwivedi. The filmmaker stated that Kapoor was his first and only choice for the role. The project is set to begin filming this year. This follows her successful performance in the hit sequel Stree 2 last year.
