Former Pakistan captain Shoaib Malik has officially announced his retirement from the Pakistan Super League.
In a message shared on social media, Malik reflected on his decade-long journey in the league. He said he enjoyed every moment on and off the field during his 10 seasons in the PSL. He added that the time had come to close this chapter, while reaffirming his commitment to serving cricket in the future.
Shoaib Malik is one of the few players to feature in all 10 editions of the PSL. During his career, he represented four franchises: Karachi Kings, Multan Sultans, Peshawar Zalmi, and Quetta Gladiators. His experience and leadership made him a key figure across multiple squads.
I cherish every single moment and friendship I have made on and off the field throughout my 10 years of the Pakistan Super League as a player. It's time to call it a day. However, my passion and motivation to serve for the betterment of cricket will always stay.
Thank you…
