Minister of State for Water and Power Abid Sher Ali has said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan and his allies should be tried under Article 6 of the constitution as he was trying to create rift between the government and Pakistan Army.

Addressing a press conference here on Sunday, Abid Sher Ali said the PTI government should verify thumb impressions of the voters in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.

He said some people cannot see Pakistan making progress but no one would be allowed to sabotage the progress, prosperity and peace in the country.

Criticizing PML-Q and Pakistan Awami Tehreek, the minister said that Tahirul Qadri was delivering lectures of revolution in Pakistan while sitting in Canada

He blamed Qadri of taking money from former interior minister Rehman Malik during his Islamabad sit-in.
