Chief of Awami Muslim League (AML) Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed visited Pakistani Awami Tehrik (PAT) head Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri  in London to discuss PTI’s upcoming Islamabad protest against the government on October 30.

According to PAT sources, during the meeting Dr. Qadri discussed all modalities of PTI’s Islamabad protest, however Sheikh Rasheed was unable to convince Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri to join the upcoming protest movement against the government.

The sources also disclosed that Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri  has asked for some time to make a decision regarding the matter.

PTI chief Imran Khan has announced to shutdown Islamabad on October 30 if Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif does not resign or present himself for accountability for the Panama Leaks controversy.

Imran has also has threatened to bring out the public on a massive scale and had stated that he would not let the government run after the October 30 protest.

So far, popular political parties such as the PPP and JI have distanced themselves from PTI’s movement.
