Shahid Hayat takes charge as new CID Chief

Former IG Sindh chief Shahid Hayat has been appointed as Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of the Crime Investigation Department CID).

According to the details, the Sindh government has issued notification and Hayat has been directed to take over the responsibilities of his new office of DIG CID on today.

Inspector General of Sindh Police Ghulam Haider Jamali recommended his appointment.

Senior politicians, Senior law enforcement officials and PPP Co-chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari appreciated the appointment, asserting that Shahid Hayat is the absolute successor of  SP CID Chaudhry Aslam.

    we love to see u in action against criminals once again with the same good combination of Sindh Rangers. this is most challenging job and sindh police have already sacrifices their most gallant officer SSP Ch Aslam. Farooq Awan was also targeted few days back. we pray for your success with safety and security. God bless u God bless Sindh Police.
