Polling for NA-149 constituency of Multan will begin tomorrow (Thursday) where seventeen candidates will contest for the seat left vacant by Makhdoom Javed Hashmi.
Independent candidates Javed Hashmi, Aamir Dogar and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) candidate Dr Javed Siddiqui are considered strong contenders for the NA-149 seat.
To ensure law and order, Rangers personnel have been deployed at one hundred and six sensitive polling stations.
According to SSP Operations Muhammad Saleem, more than four thousand policemen would perform their duty on the occasion to avert any untoward incident.
