Netflix will release “Senna,” a six-part series chronicling the life of legendary Formula 1 driver Ayrton Senna. The global premiere, scheduled for November 29, will enable fans from the UK, Ireland, and around the world to explore this motorsport icon’s life and legacy.

The series, capturing Senna’s rise from the motorsport ranks to becoming a three-time world champion, will be available for Netflix streaming starting November 29. This release allows a global audience to engage with the story of Senna’s determination and passion.

A second trailer released in late October provides an expanded glimpse into Senna’s professional racing career and personal life. It starts with his profound statement, “Even before I got into a car, I knew I was born to race. ” The trailer showcases his early karting, transition to Formula Ford in England, and rise in Formula 1. It highlights significant races, including the 1984 Monaco Grand Prix and the 1991 Brazilian Grand Prix, underscoring some of Senna’s most memorable performances.

The series also delves into Senna’s relationships and rivalries within the racing world, including his interactions with notable figures like Alain Prost, Niki Lauda, and McLaren’s Ron Dennis, providing a comprehensive view of the influences that shaped his career.

In the series, Gabriel Leone stars as Senna, and Pâmela Tomé portrays his girlfriend, Xuxa Meneghel. Matt Mella plays Alain Prost, and Patrick Kennedy plays Ron Dennis, among other key motorsport characters. Senna’s family has collaborated closely with the production team and Netflix to ensure the series accurately and respectfully represents the legendary driver.

This meticulously crafted series aims to provide authenticity and dramatic appeal, leveraging the skills of a team experienced in biographical storytelling.
