Pakistan’s security forces neutralized four suicide bombers attempting an attack on the Frontier Corps (FC) Headquarters in Mohmand district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the attack on FC Headquarters in Mohmand district started early on Friday.
The ISPR reported that the militants were intercepted as they tried to penetrate the camp, preventing them from inflicting any damage. Following the confrontation, a sanitization operation was initiated in the area to ensure no other threats remained.
The military’s media wing praised the forces’ determination to eradicate terrorism from the nation.
Simultaneously, an encounter at the Surkhab refugee camp in the Pishin district resulted in the death of five terrorists. The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) confirmed that a substantial arsenal was seized from the terrorists’ hideout.
Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, speaking at a Defence Day ceremony at the General Headquarters in Rawalpindi, reiterated his administration’s dedication to combating terrorism. He vowed to sustain the fight against the Fitna-al-Khwarij until their total elimination, highlighting the national consensus supporting this operation.
