The  Taliban’s interlocutor Professor Ibrahim said on Sunday that a secret hand was trying to sabotage the dialogue process by carrying out terrorist attacks.

Addressing a press conference here, Professor Ibrahim said that Taliban were investigating Ihrar-ul-Hind, which claimed responsibility for the recent attacks in Peshawar and Quetta. Prof Ibrahim said he was confident that peace talks would yield positive results and nation would get the “gift of peace” soon.

About the venue of government-Taliban meeting, he said that it was yet to be determined by the two sides.

Talks could succeed in Mehsud tribes, he opined.

Ibrahim further disclosed that Taliban made a suggestion that two sides could meet in South Waziristan only if army was prepared to evacuate some areas.
