On Friday the Supreme Court has ordered the federal government to issue a notification for the appointment IG Sindh within a week.
The SC bench headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Tasadduq Hussain Jilani and comprising of Justice Khilji Arif Hussain, and Justice Amir Hani Muslim was hearing the Karachi law and order case at the Karachi Registry.
During the hearing, the Chief Justice remarked it was regrettable that the federal and Sindh governments have differences over such an important issue
