Sara Rivers, a former Making the Band 2 contestant, filed a lawsuit against Sean “Diddy” Combs, alleging mistreatment, career sabotage, and sexual harassment during her time on the MTV show.
The filing, reported by TMZ, targets Combs, MTV, Viacom, and Bad Boy Entertainment figures like Janice Combs and Fonzworth Bentley.
Rivers claims Combs forced her and Da Band members into humiliating tasks, like the infamous “cheesecake incident,” walking miles for dessert. She alleges inhumane conditions, including sharing a room with four men despite her marriage, under threat of expulsion. She accuses Combs of sexual harassment, citing an incident where he cornered her and touched her inappropriately.
The singer asserts Combs sabotaged her career by disbanding Da Band and pocketing earnings, thwarting her music prospects. Her attorney, Ariel Mitchell, spearheads the multi-defendant suit, seeking justice for years of alleged exploitation.
Combs’ legal team denies the claims, labeling them “false” and “meritless. This suggests an opportunistic rush before New York’s Gender-Motivated Violence Act deadline on March 1, 2025. This suit joins a wave of legal actions against Combs, including four filed the same day, per Variety.
