Samsung has launched the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6, introducing powerful new features, including the Galaxy AI, as part of its latest offerings in foldable technology. Both devices are equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and will receive seven years of Android OS and security updates, aligning with the Galaxy S24 series standards.

During the recent Galaxy Unpacked event, Samsung unveiled these devices, which include the Galaxy Z Fold 6 starting at $1,899 for the base model with options extending to 1TB of storage for $2,259. The Galaxy Z Flip 6 starts at $1,099 for the 256GB model, with a 512GB variant available for $1,219.
Design and Colors
Samsung offers the Galaxy Z Fold 6 in Navy, Pink, and Silver Shadow, while the Galaxy Z Flip 6 comes in Blue, Mint, Silver Shadow, and Yellow. Additional custom colours, like Crafted Black and White, are available exclusively online.
Availability
Pre-orders for both models are open, with official availability slated for July 24.
Galaxy Z Fold 6 Specifications
The Galaxy Z Fold 6 supports dual SIM options and runs Android 14, topped with Samsung’s One UI 6.1.1. It features a 6.3-inch external HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display and a 7.6-inch internal QXGA+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X Infinity Flex display, both of which support adaptive refresh rates from 1Hz to 120Hz.

It has a 3.4-inch external Super AMOLED display and a 6.7-inch internal Full-HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X Infinity Flex display. The camera setup includes a 50-megapixel wide-angle and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 10-megapixel internal selfie camera.

Both devices offer extensive connectivity options, including 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.3. They are equipped with sensors and support fast charging capabilities with Samsung’s wired and wireless charging options. Both also feature a side-mounted fingerprint sensor with an IP48 dust and water resistance rating.
