The Good Lock app is currently available via the Galaxy Store in Romania, though Samsung had planned for distribution on both the Galaxy Store and Google Play Store. The rollout coincides with the expansion of Samsung’s One UI 7 update, based on Android 15. However, the app’s compatibility isn’t tied to One UI 7, ensuring broader access as the global launch continues.
One UI 7 Context
Samsung introduced One UI 7 with the Galaxy S25 series and extended it to Galaxy S24 models in South Korea and the EU. The update’s rollout hit a snag due to a bug that locked users out of devices, prompting a temporary halt. Despite this, the Good Lock app’s expansion continues, offering customization options to more Galaxy users worldwide.
