A new report suggests Samsung’s next flagship phones, the Galaxy S26 series, may see a price increase. The rumoured hike is attributed to rising costs for critical components, such as chipsets and memory.
According to South Korean publication ETNews, the increased manufacturing costs could lead to higher retail prices for the Galaxy S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra. The report cites industry sources who state that the cost of acquiring key parts has risen simultaneously. This has inflated the overall cost of building the phones.
A significant portion of the cost is allocated to processors and memory chips. To maintain healthy profit margins, Samsung is reportedly considering a price increase for the entire S26 lineup.
