Salman Khan and producer Sajid Nadiadwala are reuniting for the sequel to the 2014 blockbuster Kick, igniting fan excitement.
The announcement for Kick 2 was made on October 4 through a post on the Nadiadwala Grandson’s official Instagram page. Sajid Nadiadwala shared a captivating black-and-white photo from the movie’s photoshoot featuring Salman Khan, captioning it, “It was a great Kick 2 photoshoot, Sikandar…!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! From Grand Sajid Nadiadwala.”
The shared photo originates from the sets of Sikandar, another project currently involving Salman Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala. This marks a significant reunion for the duo, nearly a decade since their last collaboration. Directed by Ghajini‘s A.R. Murugadoss, Sikandar also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Kajal Aggarwal and is slated for release on Eid 2025. This upcoming film has garnered particular attention as Salman Khan seeks a box-office comeback following the underperformance of his recent film, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan.
Kick, a monumental success, not only thrilled audiences but also marked Salman Khan’s entry into the 200-crore club. The original film also starred Jacqueline Fernandez, Randeep Hooda, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, forming a stellar cast contributing to its massive appeal.
The anticipation for Kick 2 continues to build a decade after the original. Fans have expressed their excitement and support in the comments of the announcement post, with enthusiastic messages and tributes to Salman Khan.
