Saif Ali Khan Hospitalized After Stabbing Incident at Mumbai Home

Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was hospitalized following an attack on his Mumbai home during a burglary attempt.

The 54-year-old, renowned for his roles in movies such as “Race,” sustained six stab wounds from an intruder who entered his Bandra residence at approximately 2:30 AM local time.

Police reported that the assailant escaped before their arrival. The incident is under investigation.

Saif was urgently taken to Lilavati Hospital for surgery to address his injuries.

He suffered two serious stab wounds, including one perilously near his spine. Hospital authorities noted that the full extent of his injuries would be clear post-surgery.

His children, Ibrahim Ali Khan and Sara Ali Khan, were observed arriving at the hospital.

Saif Ali Khan’s team released a statement: “There was an attempted burglary at Mr. Saif Ali Khan’s residence. He is currently undergoing surgery in the hospital. We request patience from the media and fans. Updates will follow.”

An insider stated that the episode began around 1:00 AM when a nanny noticed the intruder. She alerted the household.

Saif reportedly confronted the intruder to defend his family, leading to the attacker stabbing him before fleeing.

Saif Ali Khan’s family has requested privacy, emphasizing, “It is a police matter, and we seek patience from the media and fans as we wait for more information.”

His hospitalization has deeply affected Bollywood, with numerous fans and celebrities expressing their support. Saif’s condition is currently critical, with further updates anticipated post-surgery.

The police are diligently pursuing the burglar as the investigation continues.
