The legendary vocalist Bilqees Khanum passed away.

Her funeral prayers will be at Imam Bargah Khairul Amar, and she will be buried at Wadi Hussain in Karachi.

Mela Sajna Di (1972) and Nai Zindagi: Naya Jeevan was her best-known film, and Mat Samjho Humne Bhula Diya and Kuch Din To Baso Meri Aankhon Mein are her hits.

The Pakistani music industry was fortunate to have Bilqees Khanum as a prominent figure. She has given the Pakistani film industry amazing tunes that will live on forever.

Spotify has recently highlighted some of her tracks. The songs Faasle Aise Bhi Honge, Kuch Din Toh Baso Meri Aankhon Mein, Wo Toh Khushboo Hai, Anokha Ladla, and Chaap Tilak are among her most well-known works.

She was married to Ustad Raees Khan, who passed away in 2017. Mohsin Raza, her brother, is also a well-known musician in his own right.
