Ryan Reynolds recently quipped about Taylor Swift being an expensive babysitter, sparking laughter with his humorous take. Reynolds, well-known for his witty banter, referred to Swift, who is close to him and his wife, Blake Lively, as a “cost-prohibitive” nanny.
The joke emerged when Hugh Jackman humorously dubbed Swift, the family’s nanny, in an interview with E! News.
Reynolds humorously recounted, “I believe the accountant said ‘cost-prohibitive’, but I think he meant ‘cost-insane-what-are-you-doing-I’m-no-longer-your-accountant.'”
Moreover, amidst rumours linking Swift to a cameo in the latest Deadpool movie, Reynolds quickly clarified her non-involvement despite acknowledging her comedic talents. “I will state once and for all that Taylor’s cameo, as much as she’s our friend, isn’t in this film,” he declared.
Reynolds admired Swift’s lesser-known comedic flair, suggesting she would excel if she ever portrayed Deadpool. “Taylor would be very good in the role. She’s one of the funniest people I’ve met,” he added.
In a display of their friendship, Reynolds and Lively were spotted enjoying Swift’s concert during her Eras Tour in Madrid earlier in May. The couple, engaging actively in the event, captured moments together in the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu. This event marked another instance of Lively’s support for Swift, following a previous concert in Madrid with her daughter and the Haim sisters.
