Ryan Garcia has sparked concern among his friends and followers with his latest unusual statements following a promotional event for his upcoming fight with Devin Haney.
During the event, which took place atop New York’s Empire State Building, Haney pushed Garcia, leading Garcia to retaliate with inflammatory comments.
In response to the altercation, Garcia accused Haney of committing a “hate crime,” claiming that he now “identifies as a woman.” Garcia’s provocative comments continued as he taunted Haney repeatedly, calling out, “Where’s your mama, bitch.”
Garcia’s recent social media posts, which have been both bizarre and disturbing, included a declaration that identifying as a woman made the physical altercation a hate crime against an LGBTQ+ individual, which he described as “f***ed up.”
