RRR and Chhello Show have been nominated for the 95th Academy Awards.
RRR’s song ‘Naatu Naatu’ was shortlisted, while The Last Film Show was shortlisted for Oscars 2023.
Pan Nalin’s The Last Film or Chhello Show has been shortlisted for International Feature Film.
Of 81 songs, 15 were shortlisted, including RRR’s Natu Natu. In addition, lift Me Up from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Nothing Is Lost from Avatar: The Way of Water, and Hold My Hand from Top Gun: Maverick is shortlisted.
Oscars 2023 shortlists include the documentary short, international documentary features, original score, animated short, makeup and hairstyling, live-action, sound and visual effects, and original song.
Joyland from Pakistan, Close from Belgium, the Western Front from Germany, and Decision to Leave from South Korea are also Oscar nominees.
Final nominations will be announced on January 24 after 12-17 days of voting.
The Oscars 2023 will be held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood on March 12.
